We are a husband and wife duo specializing in designing unique projects for individuals. We started Zaunbrecher Design in 2004 to focus on residential design along with working at a firm that specialized in institutional design. We have added full-service architecture as well as interior design to our list of services. We are both graduates of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette's Architecture Program.
The Zaunbrechers were previously employed with MWL Architects and The LeBlanc Group Inc. since 2003. Design experience includes institutional master planning, criminal justice design, institutional design, commercial design, and commercial development. Other expertise includes code & zoning investigations, programming, architectural 3-D modeling, construction documents, and construction administration. Since 2003, we have worked on a multitude of commercial and institutional projects during design and construction. Gil is a licensed architect, and Tanya is a registered interior designer.
We love design. We love fun projects. We like to make all of our projects fun for our clients and us. We have a casual approach to our meetings to relieve some of the anxiety clients may have with the design and construction process. We strive to listen to our clients' wishes in order to deliver a home design that is truly personalized to their taste and way of life.
